Letra Set, 2019

Letra Set is a three-wall black and white painted installation piece based on an untitled 16mm animation created in the same year. The distorted letters can only be viewed all together correctly when standing in a specific location. This work deals with themes of voice and perception which is something continued and developed in further works. Inspiration was sourced from a feeling of anxiousness in creating ‘good art’ and what that would require me to say. The letters were able to speak for me and not let me hide.
